UVALUX® LED U540 Series
LED ink series for commercial and packaging sheetfed applications
UVALUX® LED U540 series represents a cutting-edge advancement in UV-LED ink technology, tailored specifically for sheetfed and web offset printing applications. Engineered to excel in both, commercial and packaging printing environments, this series is adept at handling even the most demanding printing tasks. Crafted with precision, these inks are ideally suited for non-food packaging, non-food labels, and a diverse array of commercial printing projects on paper and board substrates.
This DUAL CURE ink series is designed for use in the 385-395 nm wavelength range. However, these inks are also compatible with conventional UV (mercury vapor) lamps as well as LE-UV and H-UV (iron-doped mercury vapor) lamps. UVALUX® LED U540 series was developed to meet the highest standards in offset printing. With enhanced curing properties, it achieves the highest print speeds even on the most challenging substrates. This is particularly advantageous for long sheetfed perfecting presses. Minimal ink build-up on the impression cylinders, even at high speeds and heavy ink coverage.
UVALUX® LED U540 series process inks are manufactured corresponding to ISO 2846-1 and meet the requirements for G7 certification.
